Twelve years ago while pegging out nappies on the clothesline, I came up with a story for a Medical romance. I dashed inside and started writing.  I knew nothing, but Harlequin Mills and Boon read my medical romance (incorrect fonts & skewy margins & all) and gave me some encouragement.

I spend the next decade moving continents twice, had another child, went back to paid work, but for most of that time I kept writing slowly…very slowly J I learned about conflict, I learned about emotional depth, pacing, point of view and I joined MRWG and the lovely members totally understood what it meant to need to write.

In September 2005 I sold a Medical Romance to Harlequin Mills and Boon and by January 2006 I had sold a total of three books to them! Currently I am writing three Medical Romance novels a year. To find out more about my books and me, come and visit at http://www.fionalowe.com
